The 15 Minute Celeb

Dear Readers,

My recipe for chiles rellenos appears this month (June 2011) in Cooking Light magazine.  The website lists only the recipe while the magazine article is a 3-page spread.

It was a fun process submitting my recipe.  They asked for a short bio and a picture.  The editing was done tastefully (pun intended), and we worked together to tweak the recipe to better suit the magazine's readers.


  1. I am so jealous! Are you full time 'chef?' or is it your "maine" hobby?? I miss your smiling face and now I am missing you rellenos. Are you using pasillas? They are the best! I can mail you some if you do not have them there! When are you coming to visit?

  2. Congratulations, Daniel. Chris (Sundstrom) still subscribes to Cooking Light and she saw your name right away. Unfortunately she tossed the magazine before I had a chance to see it. I keep thinking I'll re-subscribe but these are austere times on Damsen Lane so, we'll see. Miss you. Irene
